Bright Red Triangle at Parliament

“Parliamentary Reception: Edinburgh Napier –  Inspiring and Engaging Students and Researchers in Community Transformation” was an event at Holyrood Parliament to showcase community projects, hosted by Ben McPherson MSP.

Edinburgh Napier University have instigated and supported many community engagement projects. This event was designed to celebrate previous achievements, and instigate new collaborations between communities and the university.

This photo shows Cilla Richards, Business Engagement and Communication; Wendy Wu, Incubator Manager; Nick Fannin, Head of Bright Red Triangle; and Niharika Puri, Programme Officer, Changing Perceptions. I like how distinctive the architecture is – the Parliament Building is so iconic that even interior shots are instantly recognisable. Taking photos in such a visually interesting building is a dream job for events photography, and most importantly it shows Napier as an aspirational and forward thinking institution.
